Nike VNTG Tailwind

  The Nike Air Tailwind '79 is very important to Nike history for one big reason: It's the first shoe to utilize Nike Air.  The Tailwind actually debuted Nike's Air technology in Hawaii during the Honolulu Marathon in 1978 and then officially released in 1979.
